Fashion Blogger Rumi Neely To Model in Rebecca Minkoff Spring/Summer 2011 Presentation
Rebecca Minkoff loves her FashionToast. The New York based designer has just announced that she has selected famed fashion blogger Rumi Neely to model in her Spring/Summer 2011 presentation.
Hosted on September 12th during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the presentation will take place at Lincoln Center’s Box and feature Rumi Neely in Rebecca Minkoff’s collection of apparel, handbags and newly launched shoes. “Rumi represents the type of girl this collection was designed for. She’s fiercely independent, ambitious and is blazing her own pathway to success. I couldn’t imagine a better person to embody my vision for our Spring/Summer 2011 collection, which is why I created the ‘Rumi’ dress” said the designer.
One of the most recognized bloggers to emerge from the crowd of stylish faces that have become a subject of intrigue for the fashion industry, Rumi has skyrocketed to fame with her must-read blog FashionToast.com, which attracts over one million readers a month.
Rumi has been featured in prestigious magazines such as Elle, Elle Girl Japan, Foam, Lucky, Italian Vogue, Vogue and Teen Vogue.
